SGCB Test Hood Panel

The SGCB Engine Cover is a test hood panel used in the SGCB Impact Detector for PPF system to demonstrate the durability of PPF (Paint Protection Film).

This element is designed to realistically simulate a vehicle’s hood surface and provide a visual assessment of the protective film’s properties. It allows for testing the PPF’s resistance to rock chips, scratches, and mechanical impacts.

During the testing process, the film applied to the Engine Cover is subjected to controlled stress, allowing for the evaluation of both its physical durability and self-healing capabilities.
